Sidewalk illumination
Not everything you see on the sidewalk is flesh and bone. These reflections of the morning sun appear for a few days each spring on Union Street in Traverse City. Norway Dam on the Thunder Bay River
Norway Dam, also known as Seven Mile Dam, on the Thunder Bay River in northeast Lower Michigan, is perfectly servicable, but looks like a forgotten ruin of concrete. Surrounded by a rim of woods, the little pocket of peace below the impound is a silent world of electrical lines, lush grass, silent still water and an abandoned apple orchard.
