Norway Dam on the Thunder Bay River

Norway Dam, also known as Seven Mile Dam, on the Thunder Bay River in northeast Lower Michigan, is perfectly servicable, but looks like a forgotten ruin of concrete. Surrounded by a rim of woods, the little pocket of peace below the impound is a silent world of electrical lines, lush grass, silent still water and an abandoned apple orchard.
